Our year and with it our review started with a city trip to the beautiful capital of England. London – the city of rain, music and countless red double-decker buses. A city to fall in love with.
The main reason for this trip was another point on our bucket list: The Warner Bros. Studios. Because I am probably one of the biggest fans of the Harry Potter saga and I could hardly hold back with euphoria when I finally stood in front of Hogwarts after so many years.

Mallorca
The beautiful Balearic island Mallorca – beaches, caves, cliffs. The island should not only be associated with parties and alcohol, but also with its impressive nature and culture. This was a relaxing holiday for us, with a few small trips to the north. We strolled through the small alleyways of Valldemossa and watched the sunset at the Cap de Formentor.

Iceland
Iceland was our very special trip. The land of ice and fire, a country with so many facets. The island in the North Atlantic has it all. One highlight after the other took our breath away and we spent 2 weeks there and circled once completely around the whole country.
Iceland will stay in our hearts forever.
There were 2 points on our bucket list we could tick off, on the one hand we had the chance to see the giants of the seas again, on the other hand – and this is really the absolute highlight of our year – we saw northern lights.
Northern lights have something incredibly magical about them. We waited a long time, but just for this moment, the entire trip was worth it. There were tears in our eyes and goose bumps spread as the lights danced above our heads. How beautiful this world is…
