Las Vegas has a distinct desert climate. It gets very hot in the summer months from May to September, with temperatures of over 40°C possible. It doesn’t get too cold at night either, with the lowest temperatures in summer being around 25°C. In the winter months it cools down considerably and temperatures can drop to around freezing. However, the average monthly temperature never drops below 7°C, so even the winter months are significantly warmer than in Germany.
