Australia is Destary’s birthplace and our second home. This travel blog was created through our very first big trip together in 2017 and has been our matter of heart ever since. Australia inspires us with its fauna and flora as much as its culture. Aussies are absolutely joyful people and the Aborigines have an incredible story to tell. Apart from that, we love Aussie barbecue, TimTams, Meat Pie and Pavlova; unfortunately, Vegemite is not our favourite! Australia is also famous for the Sydney Opera House, the Great Barrier Reef, the desert-like outback and unique wildlife such as kangaroos, koalas and platypuses.
The best time to visit Australia depends on where you want to go and what you want to do. Temperatures are warm all year round, with days almost all reaching 30 degrees between December and February.
You can pay by credit card pretty much everywhere in Australia. If you want to withdraw cash, you will find ATMs almost anywhere.
