Spain

From Madrid to Barcelona, from Girona to Bilbao to Mallorca – Spain is a vibrant country. Are you passionate about paella, sun, flamenco and sangria? Are you a fan of siesta? Then Spain is the place for you!

Just like in Portugal, summer is high season in Spain. Streets, beaches and historic sites are often very busy and the weather is warm and sunny. September to November, on the other hand, is less crowded, the weather is still warm and it's wine harvest time! If you like wine, this might be the perfect time for a Spanish wine tasting!

Mastercard and Visa are accepted at most ATMs and in restaurants and shops. If you are outside the busier areas, you should have enough cash with you, as ATMs are less common. Otherwise, you will find plenty of them in every city!
