Mexico is a dream destination, particularly in the summer months. July to September is peak season, but spring (April to June) and autumn (October) are also wonderful times to visit – and often cheaper. To experience the authentic and relaxed side of Mexico at a leisurely pace and at low prices, winter is the best time to visit.

Mexico also offers a variety of payment options. There are cash machines in almost every town, and credit cards are accepted in most hotels and restaurants. Nevertheless, it is worth having some cash for small purchases such as street food or bus journeys.
