- Mather Point: A prime spot to catch your first glimpse of the majestic canyon. From here you have a breathtaking view of the vastness of the canyon. The visitor centre is also located directly on site.
- Hopi Point: This viewpoint is a magical place, especially at sunset. The warm light transforms the depths of the canyon into a surreal backdrop.
- Yavapai Point: A panoramic view of the canyon’s rock formations. Yavapai Point is also known for its informative exhibitions.
- Yaki Point: This viewpoint on the South Rim is less crowded and offers a quieter atmosphere and panoramic views.
- Desert View Point: At the eastern end is Desert View Point, a place that not only offers breathtaking views but also promises a historic experience. The Desert View Watchtower is located here.

These huts serve as interpretive centres and small museums, bringing the geology, flora and fauna of the Grand Canyon to life.
Grand Canyon Village at the South Rim: culture and history at the edge
The South Rim of the Grand Canyon attracts visitors not only with breathtaking views of the Canyon, but also with Grand Canyon Village. Here, travellers will find not only lodging and dining facilities, but also informative visitor centres. The atmosphere at Grand Canyon Village is lively and eclectic. Art galleries and gift shops offer local crafts and souvenirs.
West Rim: adrenaline and panoramic views
The West Rim is renowned for its exciting activities and tours. The first stop for many is the Skywalk – one of the most exciting self-supporting glass bridges in the world. Visitors can walk 70 feet over the rim of the Grand Canyon onto the 10-foot-wide, horseshoe-shaped glass bridge.
Important:
Wallets, backpacks, mobile phones and cameras are not permitted on the Skywalk. The Skywalk is not connected to Grand Canyon National Park, but is located at Eagle Point of Grand Canyon West in the Hualapai Reservation.
