For this weekend, we plunged into the hustle and bustle of the British metropolis, full of anticipation for majestic sights, culinary discoveries and the magic of the film world. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-97b893b e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"97b893b\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cd65259 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"cd65259\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Day 1: London\u2019s calling!<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-344a02e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"344a02e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Our journey to <a href=\"https:\/\/destary.com\/reise-guides\/london-guide-reisefuehrer-fuer-englands-hauptstadt\/\">London<\/a> started with an early arrival at 8am. Tired but full of excitement, we plunged into the vibrant life of the city. The majestic <a href=\"https:\/\/destary.com\/sehenswuerdigkeiten\/tower-bridge-ein-wahrzeichen-londons\/\">Tower Bridge<\/a> kicked off our sightseeing tour and we enjoyed the breathtaking views over the River Thames. Our next stop was Buckingham Palace. There we marvelled at the imposing facade, which reflects the royal splendour and history of the British monarchy.    <\/p>\n<p>Big Ben, which was unfortunately still under restoration, St Paul&#8217;s Cathedral, Trafalgar Square and the venerable Westminster Abbey were all on our list. The day ended in lively Covent Garden, where street performers showed off their skills and we lost ourselves in the charming alleyways. 16.9 kilometres on foot \u2013 an intense but fulfilling first day in London.  <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b9b48b4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b9b48b4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span class=\"notion-enable-hover\" data-token-index=\"0\">What a day! continues with a visit to the <a href=\"https:\/\/destary.com\/sehenswuerdigkeiten\/natural-history-museum-london\/\">Natural History Museum<\/a>. Fascinating exhibitions and impressive dinosaur skeletons take us on a journey through the history of the Earth.<\/p>\n<p>After this cultural rollercoaster ride, we take a culinary break at Borough Market. The variety of food on offer was overwhelming and we sampled international delicacies. <\/p>\n<p>The evening was dedicated to the London Eye. The glittering skyline at sunset and the view of the city lights were incomparable. Once there, we immersed ourselves in the world of film production and were fascinated by the original sets and props. The detailed recreations of the wizarding world of Harry Potter brought the magic to life. The souvenir shop was a Harry Potter fan&#8217;s paradise \u2013 from wands to Hogwarts scarves, there was some magic for everyone.   <\/p>\n<p>We were impressed by the creativity and precision that must have gone into each scene.
