The best way to get there is by car or train. The nearest railway station is F\u00fcssen, from where you can take a bus to the castle. Early booking is recommended as Neuschwanstein is very popular and in high demand. The castle&#8217;s location is breathtaking, perched on a hill high above the picturesque Alpsee lake.
