As the year draws to a close, we look back on two unforgettable journeys and a fantastic day trip full of magical moments, cultural experiences and breathtaking landscapes. From the mystical Highlands of Scotland<\/a> to the green expanses of Ireland<\/a> and Northern Ireland<\/a> to the vibrant Czech metropolis of Prague<\/a> and the capital of Europe, Brussels<\/a> – these experiences have made 2024 a special year for us. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

1. Celtic trip \u2013 Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Our van trip began in the awe-inspiring vastness of the Scottish Highlands. The rugged landscape, rugged mountains such as the Old Man of Storr<\/a> and mysterious lochs left a deep impression on us. A highlight was our visit to Edinburgh<\/a>, where history meets modern culture. From there we travelled to Northern Ireland. This country fascinated us with the magical backdrop of the Giant’s Causeway<\/a> and the Game of Thrones filming locations that make this region a true land of adventure. Finally, we stopped off in Dublin<\/a>, Ireland, before taking the van back to Scotland. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

2. Prague \u2013 Journey to the heart of the Czech Republic<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In contrast to the Celtic landscapes, Prague<\/a>, the golden city on the Vltava River, awaited us. The Czech capital enchanted us with its historic charm and incomparable architecture. A walk across the famous Charles Bridge<\/a>, the view of Prague Castle and the astronomical clock<\/a> in the Old Town Square were absolute highlights. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

3. Brussels \u2014 A short Christmas trip<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

As a change from everyday life, Brussels<\/a>, the heart of Europe, whisked us away into a Christmas world full of charm and history. The gorgeously decorated city centre, the impressive Grand Place in its Christmas glow and the smell of fresh waffles immediately enchanted us. A stroll through the alleyways, past the Manneken Pis and a visit to various waffle shops made this day trip unforgettable. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
